Title: 4 liter compadability
Post by: Ratchetstrap on January 12, 2015, 09:47:58 PM
So here the deal. I'm helping a friend find a replacement engine for his 2000 Grand Cherokee and rebuilding it isn't as option.

So, how old of an engine will work in a 2000 Grand Cherokee? I know the block is basically the same but what about everything else?

Thanks in advance!

the cast of the 2000's are crap  .. but you could make a later model work..

You will need a 99+ wj or 2000+ tj engine.  Blocks are different and will not interchange.
