Title: Introduction and questions
Post by: slicenspark on February 26, 2015, 12:24:26 AM
Hey there everyone,

I'm not sure if I am going about this the typical way or even posting in the right area, but here goes.

I just purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, I went into it knowing that as a 24 year old (25 in April) I'd be paying a fairly high insurance.

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a reputable insurance company that I could find decently priced coverage with.

I don't have many traffic violations, a u turn that will be removed in May, an improper turn and two seatbelt violations.  I've never had a suspended license or had insurance cancelled.

Welcome to the forum

Being under 25 you are an unreliable punk a$$ hoodlum that will run over puppies and babies with no regard for any public safety.  In fact there is a high chance you may well explode for no good reason on any alberta road.

You are going to pay until your 25 or so the insurance companies have told me.  People will recommend blue circle and you may save a 100 or so.   My son (20) and clean record looked at insurance for a car...  3rd party = 2000 add on comprehensive = 2800 and if he wanted collision. ..    6000.

That was through ama.

When I was 23 I told them I was common-law married and got the same discount as being 25. They asked for the "wife's" drivers licence number and after I told them she didn't drive, they didn't even ask for her name.

There may or may not have been a woman in my life at the time ;D
