Had to move my Jeep to the street so that the parkade gets cleaned. Left the lights on for about 1.5h (door pin fuse removed to stop the nagging when doors are off), came back to plug the meter and noticed this. Jumped in to turn it over to give the battery a little more juice and nothing. Had a friend boost me and AMA - no dice. You can hear a click in the engine compartment when the key is turned. AMA guy took some whacks at the starter - no dice.
Does anyone know of a shop that can look at it today or tomorrow? I won't be able to drop my Son off on Sunday without it. Had to have a buddy drive me to pick him up after school today.

You would have to call around. Try broken axle... but it is Friday afternoon

Auto or stick?

Auto...
Yeah, Friday isn't good... Also parked in a pay lot that is $8 every two hours downtown...

Hope it works out as painless as possible
Sucks when starters go with no warning,
You can also try Tire Pirates near Chinook they are honest and open Tomorrow, no idea how busy though

UGH... I discovered the problem: I am the DUMBEST F%#K on planet Earth!! I have to swipe a fob to start the Jeep - I did not do that. I thought that it was the battery because I've left the headlights on in the past and had to boost. Was more in a crisis mode and not thinking.
DUMBEST PERSON EVER. Have had this setup for 5 years!!! If you ever see a yellow TJ with TJSJEEP as the license plate, laugh at me or throw something.

Well at least ya can laugh it off :)

Oh, and the icing on the cake was after we got moving, we dropped the Jeep off for wash and detailing. I must have left the lights on for the hour that it was there and had to get ANOTHER boost!!
I'm not normally a stupid person, but this was an epic day of fails! Must have been the hangover from the game last night! GO FLAMES GO!
