Anyone good at, or know of anyone who is, at repairing rust spots? It's for a 95 XJ.
-
pfffft XJ's don't rust
-
Bribeguy has lots of experience with it...
-
True, but he took 3 years to do it. ;)
-
I TOLD you it would rust to the jackstands.
-
Not mine.

Rusting to the jackstands is a good thing - that way when it breaks on the trail all that he has to do is extend the jackstands to work on it.
It's the snowblower that's rusted into place in the left rear wheelwell that's the issue. If he doesn't get it out of there he will only have room to run 31's.

Not true at all.........the actual work only took 6 months or so. The procrastination that lead to the rust being as big of an issue as it was took 3 years...... :p
What are you looking to fix up?
-
Rusty above the windshield and under the door handle.
-
Above the windshield gets really nasty really quick. Problem is that you don't know how big of a job it is until it's WAY too late to turn back.
Bondo bondo fiberglass bondo bondo..................probably the best (easiest?) bet for both spots, unless welding in new metal is an option. Or just swap out the whole door..........might be cheaper.
