Installed Led tail lights on the 05 LJ. Love em... will change front soon too. Turn signal is obviously doing the "hyper flash". Is there a flasher relay ( 5 pin?) That will put the turn signals back to normal.?.. Who sells it.? Looking for plug and play...

You have a late TJ/LJ so you need a GCD-TJ0106 flasher (http://vh10.nethosting.com/~goldcst1/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=15&zenid=cba13522c8ab104a92a1eb229d212b26) for LED tails.

Yup... That's the part... Not sold in Canada. It's a custom made item out of Oxnard California. "Off Road" use only. About $50.00 by the time it gets here....

Yeah sadly it ain't cheap, but there's not much else you can do if you want your LEDs to work normally, as far as plug-and-play goes. Some guys have modified the stock module with a Radio Shack part and some wire, but there have been reports of that mod causing battery drain while parked.

What about the "heavy duty" flasher? That worked like a charm in my SJ

The "Radio Shack " mod seemed too scary, also heard of fires. I know the pre 2001 TJ led specific flasher works in the 05 but turn signals can stay on without the key in... so yup... $50.00 for OE function. But I love my lights...

Try bringing your flasher into auto value to look for a replacement. I modified my older TJ flasher, but when that crap the bed, I went to go find another one. It wasn't listed under TJ, but it was a heavy duty trailer flasher, exact same pins, and it was plug and play without having to be modified to prevent fast flash. And it was like 17 bucks.

I had purchased the LED flasher at Napa for my 02. They had it in stock.

Thanks guys, my last post on this was late September. Ordered the modified one from California. Works great. The 05/06 TJ's were quite unique in a lot of strange ways. ...
