Title: Building new house and need to check clearance in garage.

Alright.  I've got a TJ that I want to put a 5.5-6" lift with 35s.  What is the full height of the vehicle at this point?  Will I be able to get it into the garage with a 7' tall garage door?  Should I get the builder to make the garage door 8' just to make sure?  I was thinking that a lift and larger tires would result in about 8.5" extra vehicle height. (6"lift + 2.5" tire to axle increase)  Does that work out about right?  If someone has a similar setup, do you have problems with height of the garage door?

get the 8' regardless, it is soo much easier to manouver odd things in and out of, and you won't regret it.
