Title: Is installing winch a threat to my JK's warranty?

Hi All,

I have a 2016 Wrangler Sport, and like my CJ before it, there must be a winch! I'm looking at a Warn M8000 w/ Rock Hard 4 x 4 winch plate to keep the factory bumper btw.

Jeep purchased at South Trail in Calgary.

Any thoughts on whether the dealer will see the winch and flag me to deny warranty coverage? It seems like an innocent enough mod...

I highly doubt it

But call the dealer and ask if you like, Probably comes down to a judgement call by the service department if they think the Jeeps been abused (with or without) winch to void warranty
