Title: Flat Towing Rubicon Jeep behind motor home

With the 4.10 gears and 4-1 case, it would have been doing 10000+ rpm @ 70 mph.

More like 40,000 plus RPM at 60 mph but my money says the explosion of parts happened before it got to 10,000 rpm.
I bet it exploded before anything got hot.

I figure the guy thought he was in neutral but missed the shift and put it in 4-low. I believe when flat towing your supposed to put the transmission in gear.

I just did the math, 60 MPH 1st gear low range would put the RPM’s at about 50,479 RPM.
My money says the engine grenaded long before that.
