Title: 2017 Jeep Cherokee Question...
Post by: Nufy on May 17, 2023, 11:32:25 AM
I picked up a 2017 Cherokee Limited a few weeks back.

It needs new rotors and pads which I knew about and am now looking to purchase.

Rock Auto needs to know if it is a single or dual piston caliper on the front in order to provide the correct parts.

I know I can jack it up and look but I am at work and want to get these things ordered ASAP.

Any way to tell from the trim level what is required ? Single or Dual Piston ?

Thanks.

Have you tried using the VIN on the jeep website to get a build list... that might give you a clue.

Another question...

Is the service history for Jeeps available at all dealerships ?

I bought this one at a third party dealer and it has been de-badged..ie...  no markings as to the originating dealer.

I have a clean carfax but to get the service history, can I just check with any dealer in the city ?
