Gey guys, i'm back, few months off down in australia, where, unfortunately, the don't have Jeep, but they do have toyota, and i found my truck... 89 landcruiser, 23,5 landed grom japan.
anyways, i heard of a lot of urban 4x4ing going on down there, what is that?
Toyota Hilux pickups are pretty good for this apparently

Apex, you're right, all the better to scare you small Jeeps with!
JK, but really, what is urban 4x4ing?
Thanx

I'd be embarassed to be seen driving that thing...

Ugh, thats a horrible spring over. Talk about top heavy.
For the same price, there is a late 70's Land Cruiser Pickup (rare) for sale down the street from me, the guy is solid firm on $22,000. Thats right, twenty two thousand dollars. It's extremely rare, and in remarkable condition. With a lift, prolly 2-4", and running 31's. I haven't seen under the hood, but the body is in really good condition, and its a hardtop pickup. Too bad the current owner leaves it parked outside with a "For Sale" poster in the front window.
I don't have the number handy, but I can pop down the street if anyone is interested.
Cheers
Chris

If you want to buy a Cruiser for offroad then buy the one Chris is talking about then trade with me for mine. It's a little more offroad worthy and that way you're not scratching up a restored rig. ....Steve

just looking around and trying to find something that matches who i am...
els---that landcruiser p/u wouldn't happen to have "Hilux" badges on it, would it?
thanx

Note that I am aware of. AFAIK a Hilux is a Tacoma, sort of. This thing is all FJ. From the round roof corners, to the grille. Its a FJ of some sort. And I'm pretty sure its left had drive too. But I'll get the number for ya tomorrow and you can call the guy and see.

That is the dumbest thing ive ever seen, and who would pay 22 g's for that, hahahaha. And i would really reconsider your purchasing habits if you actually bought that.
