Title: Question regarding renting a 4x4

Hi from a member of the Jeep Club Germany!

I do not know if anyone can help me, but I'll try my luck anyway...

We will be visiting Alberta this September for the 15th time.
We usually rent a camper, but this time we planned on going a little (very moderate) off the beaten tracks (eg Forestry Trunk Road or a few backcountry roads in the Kananaskis area).

Renting a 4x4 with a standard rental company always rules out the use of the car off paved roads.
Does anyone know anybody in/around Calgary who would have a 4x4 (of course preferably a JEEP  :wink: ) to rent and would allow the use on gravel or dirt roads?

Budget Rental Cars used to rent Rubicons complete with a winch, I'm not sure if they still do.
