Title: Battery problems
Post by: 81cj7 on August 24, 2006, 11:31:17 AM
Hi guys
The 97 TJ I just bought has had some issues with not starting when it should.

After I installed a charged battery, my low fuel indicator came on, is this normal?

with a burned alternator?

It might be that your brushes on your alternator are dirty and it does not charge your battery.

Ok... it might have happened to me a few times

PM the electicguys ... he works at ATI and will be able to help ya.

thanks guys...

I chalked it up to dirty terminals, then took it in to All Start on Mcleod trail, who did a diagnostic, and everything is good now!  If I could only find rear seatbelts and a way to improve my gas mileage 40% I'd be laughing!
