Title: differential oils?
Post by: unionjack on September 05, 2006, 11:13:36 AM
ok this might sound bad, but i have no idea what oils should go in my diffs or transfer case..................having never dealt with these before, can someone help?

front and rear diffs are dana 60s and the transfer case is an alleged d40 from a cj6? not sure. all i know is the diffs are from a 70-71 international scout. :?:

Normal 80/90 in the diffs. If you have a limited slip, it needs an additive. Probably not.

Gear driven case takes 80/90 as well. If its chain driven it takes ATF, but its most likely a gear case.
