Title: Jeep Boombox
Post by: gsxtacy on September 08, 2006, 09:03:06 PM
I know this is kinda a stretch with the 4 by related, but has anyone tried these things out on here?  I go on the internet, and i get mixed reviews about the thing.   it looks like it could take tons of abuse, but several reviewers say the opposite...comments?

They sold those at Superstore for a while. They are plastic junk if you ask me.

Yeah, it looks cool but don't waste your money. If you want a boombox that will take abuse, go to a tool store and check out the units by DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc.

For the price, I'd think it'd be a decent deal. Teh DeWalt, etc. boomboxes are F'n expensive! lol

Sure is plastic but is it water proof? And how much damage are you gonna put it through? Unless you plan on driving over it or using it as a jack stand it'd probably be ok. I have a JEEP brand Home stereo and it works fine. (its not water proof though)
