Hi all,
I guess I got bit by the bug!
I just bought a new RUBICON :)
Now where to play? In refrence to another post I saw mention that you can get fined for wheeling off a posted trail. Is that correct? Does that include any cut line? or just in trail parks? (like maclean)
I was in the nordegg area a few weeks back running the cut lines up there where I usually hunt.
Was I a BAD BOY?

Welcome to the site....
Yes...
Correct me if I'm wrong ....but Nordegg is in the Big Horn Rec Area. You can only wheel in this area with a "certain size" vehicule (like a quad). It's been like that over there for a few years. You can't go ther with your jeep.
In Maclean Creek you can go on any trails that are not marked " no motorized vehicules beyong this point"...Trails are open unless posted closed. In Waiporous... you CANNOT go on any trails that does not have a little Jeep sign. Trails are closed unless posted open and yes ... you get a fine ($57 ... up to $1000 if the SRD feels like it).
I hope that helps a bit...
I'm glad you enjoy your new Rubi!!! :D ...
Wheel resposably ... It keeps what we have for trails left open.
Come the the clean up on Saturday at MaClean (tomorrow) ... There's will be a bunch of us There.
Hope to see ya there... (I have a red Cherokee with a roof rack and 4 off road lights on it.)
Cheers

Welcome to the site. If you keep an eye on the web site we have a trail run at least once a month. Hope you make it out to one. Have a look at the events schedule top of the web forum. We also have monthly meetings 3rd Wednesday of each month, food, beverages and jeep talk. The info is in the events schedule. See you on the trails.
