im not realy looking to go out on a full out trail run just wanna puts around on some stuff... lemme know if anyones up for it i need to find a set of wheels n tires
-
I've completed the repairs and would like to test the new springs  . Likely a shorter run for myself, thus meeting @ 09:00 @ McLean Store on Saturday works for me to allow decent trail/testing time. I'm near stock and stockers would be capable of the trails I have in mind (bypasses are available). Other trail suggestions are always welcome.
JennyStar, to get to McLean OHV area, goto Bragg Creek, go W on #66, turn L into the McLean OHV, follow the road to the Store.
-
tom ill try to be tehre... i should if i get my tow hooks mounted (gotta figure out the rear mount)... what trail do you have in mind?
also i will be at the end of the paved road in the unloading zone.... will be towbaring my truck nd leaving tow rig there if we wanna take that trail somehwere?

TaTtOo talk (PM) to 01sahara if you would like to come. This run is a members only and invites run ...
-
I would love to go, specially if stock rigs are welcome...
I ask the question every run i ask about, and everyone ignores it, please answer me!!! ARE WRANGLER RT/S OK? when i look on the goodyear site, they are ranked below ATs for offroading, but i've seen ATs and they dont look like more agressive tread than mine. If i have to i'll take pictures, i would just hate to get there and get turned away cause my tires arent trail worth.
Thanks in advance,
Brad

Brad, I saw some R/T's on a vehicle today, I think, that if the conditions were dry you would probably be ok. But if there was even a little mud they would not work so good. If the tires are getting below 60% or so I would not recommend going out wheeling. Upgrading to an off-road tire would be a good idea.

When I started out, I used stock tires (all seasons in fact) on my stock YJ, and they worked OK when it was dry but sucked when they turned into gumballs in mud. I still had fun and was just careful where I ventured, I also did a fair bit of solo wheeling and learned the easy trails during my adventures. (Probably not recommended by moderators  ) Just show up @ 09:00 at the Store - someone will be there and you can hook up.
-
What CB chanell will you guys be using and what trails are you planning. I've got 3 other jeep buddys that may go but we won't be out there till 11 ish.
-
well as for me ch 10...............ill be there about 7am ish hope to see some of you guys n girls out there

After todays event in Bragg Creek, I could say so much here. But I will refrain.
For now
