Title: Double Clutching & Synchromeshing
Post by: gsxtacy on November 04, 2006, 07:26:56 AM
Hey guys....I'm rebuilding my trans (the rebuild kit finally came) and I was wondering, Should I get rid of my synchro's?
It would lighten up the weight some, probly not noticably, and i would hafta double clutch I think, anyways, the transmission is a T-150 hurst shifted.  Any help or refrences would be great!

thanx

I wouldn't get rid of the synchros.  Double clutching in Calgary's traffic will get really annoying after a while and could be a detriment on tough sections of trail where a quick shift is needed to clear an onstacle.
