Any reason NOT to do one of these?  I have noticed that the 4x4 light on my YJ dash has been going on and off....I'd hate to have it slipout just when I needed it.

Looks easy enough to do.

I bought a locking PTO cable to build one for myself. Biggest problem will be getting the cable to attach to the housing and seal it up.

Looks easy enough to me from the pictures....am I missing something here?  Is it possible to really screw up your rig doing this?

I'm planning on doing this eventually, I agree it does seem easy but it is a fairly straight forward device.  There is a post on this subject on jeepsunlimied.com somewhere in the YJ forum.  I was thinking of some sort of high temperature caulking and making the whole in the diff as small as possible so that it will seal while submerged
