Title: 95 YJ rad swap?
Post by: dunl on November 09, 2006, 07:22:19 AM
The YJ obviously found another pocket that wasn't empty.

Is there a common rad out there to swap into a 4.0L YJ in order to upgrade from the stock one?  Maybe a 3 or possibly even a 4 row?

Thanks,
Darcy

I've always found the stock one does the trick. I just did one in a 4 banger TJ. I cant remember the exact price, but Im sure it was up in the 300 range, and thats with a healthy discount I get at autovalue.

You can get there for about $250 from rad shops

I will go with a stock one, but I've already promised myself that if something on this rig needs replaced, I will try to upgrade the technology as much as possible if I can, even if I am searching a pulling second hand parts.

It would be nice to have the extra cooling if I ever needed it.
