Title: front transmission bearing

So I pulled the tranny from my TJ today and replaced the clutch. I went to reinstall it and gave it a quick once over and noticed that the front input shaft has a bit of play in it. I'm no mechanic but I'm pretty sure the front tranny bearing is worn. Can anyone confirm my diagnosis

how much is a bit of play ?? .. remember the other end of the shaft is supported in the pilot bearing.
