Looking to get out in a TJ on 31's...Learning how to drive. Let me know if anything is in the works.
Prefer a run without 5,000 jeeps

Pick a warm weekend in March and I'd like to bring out the 40 for a test run. No top though so it can't be minus 20. I'm not as brave as Brian (stuckagain) so I would rather not run doorless/topless in -25.

A tip from my first run last August.
Stay closer to the back and watch someone else get stuck and pulled out first.
Then make it through the hole they didn't.
Will help out your ego a bunch.

Next scheduled stocker run open to non-members is June 9 but you never know when somewill have a be going out for a easy run.

Maybe for you. I seem to remember you mentioning the highway part of the day was a little cold though. I'll wait for spring with the FJ I think though but I would love to get out on a run again with you. .....Steve

i still had my safari top with windjammer on. i took the jeep to work Wednesday and parked it perpendicular to the wind....doh. When i left work, the entire inside was covered in snow!
The drive to and from work was brutal. With heat on full, i could easily see my breath. Brutal.
Today i put the full soft top on :D

I think cold is an understatement!!!!!! The highway ride was terrible!!!!!!!
My girlfriend was wrapped in blankets for the ride home that day. I would love to get out with you again Steve.

As an Esks season ticket holder, I can tell you that one of the Edmonton Eskimo greats, Don Warrington, was nicknamed "Jeep" by Dan Kepley and teammates because he drove his Jeep year round in Edmonton without any top.
"Jeep" had contributed to the first three of those five Grey Cups in a row when he was lost to a traffic accident in 1980.
