Title: Gear break-in
Post by: whitetrash96 on January 16, 2007, 06:47:22 PM
Here's what the manufacturer says to do. http://www.reiderracing.com/rtech_break.htm

Now is it alright to run it in 4hi with the hubs unlocked to break in the front gears? Or is there a more preferred way I'm not thinking of? Thanks.

Didnt your freind just ask this question about 6 posts down? Guess he didnt tell you.

With no load on your gears its unlikely you will warm them up properly.

Just run it 10-15 minutes locked up to get things warm.
