I have American Racing Rims. The outlaw 1's and I was wondering how I would be able to find out how wide the rim is (7 or 8") without having to take the tire off the rim.
-
Stop at a tire shop. They have big caliper for measuring rim widths when balancing tires.
-
What size tire are you running now?
-
31x10.5 If it was a 12.5 width it would be easy but it could be
either 7 or 8" wide.

Is there a part # on the back of the wheel? If so this might help.
See if you can match it up here:
