Title: Newb here, just saying hello
Post by: Tuna on February 10, 2007, 07:33:52 PM
Hi, just signed on to the site and thought i'd say hello.  I don't own a jeep just yet but our plan is to find one in the next month or 2.

I haven't been offroad in a long time.  I used to own a 75 CJ about 10 years ago and wish everyday I still had it.

I do have a question though, I was reading in one of the threads that most of Waiprous (sp?) is now closed off.  Is there still a fair bit of wheeling that can be had?  I know there is Maclean but that is a smaller area no?

Anyway, seems like a friendly bunch here, nice site.

Edit: if I posted in the wrong forum feel free to move.

Welcome Tuna

Alot of waiparous is indeed closed, and Maclean is closed for the winter, but there is still lots of places to wheel if you know where to look.

Come to the next meeting and meet the group, It will be posted in the events section.
Ian

out west there is still alot of open trails. you can go to burnt timber, nitchi valley, parker, burnt stick, and thats just to name a couple of crown land areas with some good ol'e 4x4 and quad trails

I thought Burnt Stick and Burtn Timber were in Waiporous and closed to 4x4s
