Title: St. Paddy's Day Run - March 17th

OK, so its time to start a roll-call, and plan the run.

Date: March 17th
Location: 1 of 3 remaining trails in Waiparous
Meet time: 8am at the Cochrane Smitty's
Duration: Depending on how many Jeeps/People, what runs, condition of the trails, weather, carnage, etc. Could be 6 hours, could be 16. (Also depends on who comes out will dictate the carnage, bring your camera!) Do not make dinner/drinking plans or, as you may not be able to be there! This is late winter!

CJA Minimum equipment rules, apply.

A signed waiver (will be available at breaky)
Front & rear tow points
CB
31" AT or better/bigger

Depending on who and how many come out, will depend on what trail(s).

Who wants in?

It's St. Paddy's Day I know, but leave the green beer at home. We can stop in Cochrane on the way back for some pizza and a green pint.
This is winter wheeling, one needs their head straight and true. Anyone under the influence of drugs/alcohol will not be wheeling with me. *PERIOD*

Its in the open wheeling area of our forum, so its open to members and non members. Any non-jeeps will be ridiculed, but welcome.

But the rules/requirements apply to non-jeeps as well!

Sure do...i worked too much in 06', and I was only able to go out once in oct. I plan to have a good year this summer though.

I'll be there ... it'll be my second run in Waiparous.  this will be my first run with the new toy ... can't wait to try it out.

Sadly, something has come up for me. And alas, it involves work. :(

So I won't be leading the pack anymore. Someone else want to step up and lead this fierce group to the lake? Should be a muddy good time!

I'm having a hard time deciding on attending this open gathering. I have a 90 YJ that I'm working on with 33" new M/T and 3.5 lift plus shackles. Heres the delema, NO LOCKERS YET. I have a 9500 lb winch though!.
It may be ugly out there and should a person have lockers? Dumb question right!

a run to margret lake doesn't require lockers..... you may need a tug in a couple spots due to ice or mud combos.. but that should make the day a little more interesting.... stock libbys have made it the lake.

Great to know, as I've never been there and was concern more about this time of year, and what to expect. I guess I better go get plates for it.

oh man life just never seems 2 stop 4 me. I wont be able 2 make it  :(  but I will try 2 make the meeting next week!!! :lol: HA Ive said that before
