Title: before i squash my melon....

if I undo/pull my fuel tank skid plate, will the fuel tank come down with it?

That's what happened when we pulled Thane's stock skid plate off his Rubi. The gas tank came with it.

hmmm... those with unibodies dont have that problem....... :P

fiend... use a floorjack to support the tank/skid combo...might save the headache or add to the headache :wink:

yea i can do that, but then i can't lift the tank out of the skid plate, 50litres no way, a jug o milk almost makes me pee my pants.

i'll try later with an empty tank
