Title: Rubber bushing for shock
Post by: 01sahara on March 17, 2007, 11:03:23 PM
The top bushing on one of my rear shocks fell to pieces today on the trail.
Lots of noise and banging coming from the back end.
2001 TJ with Super Lift shocks.

Will National carry the rubber bushings as a separate item? That is where the shocks came from.  :?:

Are there better bushings that make any difference in performance? :?:

The shock is out and I have put one of the stock ones back in, so I do not have to fix it in a hurry.

Thanks

Is this what you need?  If so I have 4... will bring them to the meeting.

Thanks Lawrence.

That looks like it might be the right shape. Hard to tell not much left of the old one and it was too dark last night so I could not get a good look at shock on the other side. The shock is in the back of the jeep so I can see if it will fit at the meeting.

No, dependent mostly on vehicle as there are several different mounting styles.  I believe however if you get a bushing say from rancho for a TJ it will work in an OME TJ shock
