New oil pump maybe ?

check pcv valve, pcv hoses, if all is well, do a compression test and/or leakdown test to determine if the engine is any good.

That type of pressure build up is defenitely blow by from poor compression ring seal. Your compression must be low on one or more cylinders. Also check to see if you have oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil as it may also give an indication of a cracked block or head/head gasket problem.

Check the easy stuff first, being the PCV system. I had a kinked hose in my PCV sytem that was causing a similar problem. I replaced my valve cover, rear main and pan gasket before I realized that the oil was coming from the dipstick tube due to the crankcase overpressurizing. Turns out that one of my PCV lines had gone soft over the years and kincked closed on one of the bends. Looked ok untill I completly removed it and looked inside. A new hose and all was good.
I don't see how an oil pump wiould help.............

Nope, don't think it would... LOL I was just thinking about the pressure release valve on some of them... for some reason...but that shouldn't blow the dipstick out.
