Was just helping out at the scene of a hit and run at around 10:30pm. Corner of Madigan dr and 8th ave. Witnesses said an older red jeep, possibley a YJ, spun out and hit an old man crossing the road. Stayed there untill the ambulance took him away. Poor guy said he couldn't feel his legs.
If this was your jeep, and was stolen, you may want to report it. If you were the the driver and are reading this, I hope you rot in hell.
To everyone else, if you see an older red jeep with body damage that could have been caused by a "body".... well just keep your eyes out.

Any Idea which side or corner of Jeep may have been damaged ?
I know of a couple yj's in that area that are red, I can check them out.

Unfortunatley I was the 2nd one on the scene and didn't see it happen. Didn't get a chance to ask the witness where the impact was on the vehicle, just make and colour.

I think you should not speculate on what kind of jeep you think is responsible. Your judgment is based on second hand info.
I agree the driver responsible is in the wrong... but he might live in your neighborhood on his way home. Ever considered that?
Broad stokes of your brush just painted every red jeep owner in my neighborhood guilty. I know your are mad but keep the accusations to your self instead of airing them on a public forum.

Apex I doubt the Shibby meant to paint all red jeep owners in a particular neighborhood as guilty of hit and run, I believe he is trying to use the CJA community as a tool in trying to help right a wrong. I know if someone I cared for was run down by a jeep, I also would use every means possible to find the guilty party. The CJA should be happy to help out in a case like this. After all this is a community that acts together to try to improve the public image of four wheelers. I would think as a group we should all do what we can to help out.

agree'd. in times like this sometimes this may be the only way to help someone out and if you believe in karma this is a good example of the right thing to do. my 2cents

You're right, This wasn't meant as a broadscale accusation. This happened 2 blocks from my house, so I'm not trying to imply that all red jeeps in my area are bad. And I didn't know the old man that got hit. But even though he was a stranger, it still pulls at the heart strings to have to hold someone down to keep them from moving and hurting their back even more, while at the same time they are in and out of conciousness and groaning in pain. All because someone was heartless enough to just leave him there in the street to possibley die in the freezing cold and snow.
I realize that whoever did it may not even be from my neighbourhood, possibly even from the city. I just wanted it known what had happened, in a meager attempt to keep it from happening again. I mean, if it happens once, who knows if it'll happen again.
If the culprit gets caught, good. If not, then hopefully Karma will bite him later.
Sorry for the confusion Apex
