Title: Rear tow hook

hey guys, i called the dealership the other day and they priced out two rear tow hooks for my 98 tj at about 170 bucks :shock:

is there anything else i could use for a rear tow hook thats a bit cheaper :?:

or if anyone has an extra one they are willing to part with?

You can go to Princess Auto and get some 10,000lb tow hooks for under $10 each.  There is one hole in your frame on the side already, just line it up and drill the second hole.  There is a hole under the frame to fish your nuts up through.  Very easy.  I don't have a pic of the tow hook installed, but I do have a picture of two bolts through the holes I am talking about.  You can also see the hole in the bottom of the frame which you can fish the nuts up through.
