Well I have had an eventful and challenging couple of days.... My wife was kind enough to buy me a RE 4.5 extreme duty lift for my YJ... :shock: :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Which was just in time since I broke one of my leafs during the last outting.
SO.... I spent the last two days installing this thing and changing the brakes all round. Got everything installed and I am having a horrible time bleeding the brakes.... I bled them for about 90 minutes tonight and they still are not reacting the way the should.... Any tricks here.. I am just doing one corner at a time starting at the rear passenger, rear driver side, front passenger, then fronty driver side with the pump...pump....pump....pump...hold...bleed repeat meathod. Its been a while since I have done this but I don't remember it being this difficult.
Also for anyone else who has done this lift, what did you do with the vac hoses and electricl for the front axle? Mine seem to be snug at ride height as well as the rear e brake cables all seem to be snug?

maybe the "pump pump pump" is screwing you up..
Should be:
-open valve,
-push brake all the way in and hold,
-close valve,
-release brake.
...and repeat.
You should have a clear hose so that you can see when all the air is bled from the line.
Get the wifey to sit in the jeep and pump the pedal for you, and the whole thing should take about 15min.

Check for leaks Lawrence. Also confirm you didnt somehow mix your calipers up and place them upside down. Bleeder should be at the top.
Other then that, it can be a pain sometimes. Once you get it going, run it a bit, come back and try to bleed again.
Ebrake lines, not sure. We tore Mikes, out and left them out when we did rear disks. You should be able to get and inch or two out of moving or RE moving frame mounts and such.
Front disco lines, splice and extend the wires, and get yourself a longer peice of hose from autovalue if you think its required.
Again, Mike and I ditched that whole setup right after his lift because it failed anyways. So not to sure how it all reaches.
