Call in show talking about the May Long destruction. I strongly recommend you listen and voice your opinion.

so I sent an email... and they read it on the air. The response was positive and the guests praised us specially for our work. They admitted we have a lot in common with us.
here is what I wrote.
I am a proud member of the Calgary Jeep Association. We were heavily involved in the cleanup efforts of Indian Graves post May Long. We are also involved with Bridge building programs in Waiparous. I would like to plead to the public that there are responsible users that use public lands. This is a case of bad apples spoiling it for everyone else.
There are responsible users... and responsible organizations working to protect the few areas we have left. Please don't paint all Jeep/ATV owners as enviro-destroyers... there are some of us that are making a positive change in our community.

and there was also mention of our idea of school based activism. Someone from our org mentioned that we wanted to go into schools and explain responsible camping and wheeling to school students.
This idea was discussed a little on air and there was big support for it.

neat. sorry i had to miss the program.
key word from a buddy of mine. instead of "enviro-destroyers" or whatever, he jokingly calls me and "environmental terrorist". i think there can be a actual use for these 2 words.
