so i tripped and put my hand through a giant mirror that was leaning against a wall. 8 feet of shattering mirror cut a twoonie sized chunk out of my right wrist. Thankfully missing veins and arteries, but shaved half of a tendon off. 1.5hrs in the ER, a sutchered tendon and five stiches later I am okay. I am lucky to have movement in my didgets let alone my entire hand.
anyways, all is good now but I will be down for a couple weeks while I recover.

Feel better dude.
As a token of my sympathy, I'll reschedule our appointment at the bike racks for 3 weeks.

Just give your hands a rest and drink your beer from a straw. Hope all gets well, serious work impending injuries are scary. I hope the healing goes extremely well.

Talk about a scare of a lifetime! I'm glad to hear that you are ok, shattered glass isn't too forgiving. Hope it heals fast. A few cold ones should help with that. :)

8 feet of mirror? OUCH!!
Thats like 7 years of bad luck for each foot of glass!
And what were you doing walking around? Don't you know thats the primary cause of accidents in the workplace? Movement is bad, safety meeting good. Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt!
I'm glad to hear you are ok, hopefully you'll be driving the stick again in no time! ;) (or the saddle).

You forgot step 6! (Repeat 1 thru 5 till A) the chair knocks you onto the floor B) the chick at the bar looks hot (or hotter than before) C) It's 2am and the ugly-lights have been turned on and the chick is back to being a hefer)
But I agree with Dom, there should be a ceremonial beer lifting to commemerate your brush with physical limitation. :D

thanks all. I feel like @$$ this morning but the numbness has dissapeared from the knuckles.
