Title: 2000 TJ 4.0 Litre oil gauge at max????

Hey I have a TJ with 170K on her doesn't burn oil runs great 2nite when I was driving the oill presure gauge MAXED out to the highest reading, any thoughts??

Oh and I finally got a soft top, black tinted Mopar NEW with all hardware for 530.00 better than what the dealers want.

Bad oil pressure sending unit. Buy new one, screw old off, screw new on. Done.

Thanks, started her up again now reading normal I will pick up a sending unit, thanks again.

Forgot to ask, you aren't running 90W in the crankcase are you?  :lol:

Yeah, when they go bad they pin to MAX. Better than to MIN and you think you have 0 pressure.
