Title: Braking causes stalling~
Post by: yjpaul on August 11, 2005, 06:52:09 PM
Im hoping someone knows what this problem is, but when im coming to a stop braking, the truck just wants to die, and sometimes does unless i have my foot on all three pedals at once.  Even at a stop if i pump my brakes, the rpms drop significantly.  Anybody?

Its possible that the check valve or diapram in your brake bosster is bad which is causing a massive vacuum leak. After turing the vehicle off how many brake applications do you get before the pedal goes hard?

I'm betting only one.

I'll second what Clay said, probably a bad brake booster.
