Title: sway bar spacers
Post by: 4PLAYZJ on June 21, 2007, 09:56:12 PM
I went for the first drive in my jeep and it seemed pretty good considering the radical change but it was a little tippy.  I think that part of the problem is that I could not get the front sway bar at the stock angle.  I installed jks extended lower sway bar mounts and my dissconnects are extended as much as I can(6 inches).  I purchased some drop brackets that will drop the sway bar 2" down and then I can get my proper angle.  My question is has anyone used drop brackets like this before? I am worried about wrecking my frame.  Here are the brackets:

I beefed them up by wending some square tubing in the center so I know that the brackets will be o.k. I just dont want to tear the welded pal nuts out of my frame.  Any advise would be great or am I just not used to driving this monster and a little tippy is normal with a 9 inch lift?
