Title: 98 Xj Engine Swap

Hey, Im wondering if anyone can give me some tips on this.
My situation is that my engine is shot and i need to do a swap asap and as quickly as possible. Im wondering what engines will work in my 98 jeep cherokee 4.0L as a direct swap. Pretty much just put the engine right in and plug all the wires in, in as little time as possible.
Also I was wondering if anyone knows where i might be able to just get a good deal on a new or used engine. :?  any input is appreciated.

Best option would be to find a 98 engine.  All Jeeps with the 4.0L were the same and accessories will all transfer.  I believe any engine from about 91-99 with work, but the older ones will require the head to be swapped over

I just put a used one in my zj. i got mine from Jeep Stuff just east of the city, they were fast, service was great, very friendly!

I saw a I6 4.0L from a 98 TJ for sale on Facebook $800.
