Title: Seat Belt Is Locked
Post by: RedYJ on August 15, 2005, 06:42:54 PM
So I unbolted my seat belt so that I could put in my new Hippo liner, btw looks really good.  But now I cant pull any of the belt out, its rolled up as far as it can go and now it doesnt want to let go.  Is there any button you push to unlock it or anything?

Its probably because they rolled up to far, and are preventing the "spring bar thing" from moving enough to disengadge it. Take the plastic cover off, and with a little bit of effort you should be able to unroll it by hand. When you look at it you will see what I mean by the belt wedging the clip up.

Yes that fixes it, I wasnt sure if I was able to take that rivet out but with much struggle it came out and I was able to move the spring thing to pull it out.  Thanks for the reply
