Anyone seen the commercials advertising lifetime warranty? Is that strictly diesel's?
-
Everything BUT diesels and certain fleet vehicles. Looks pretty good actually, you have to be the original owner(if you sell it the warrenty reverts to the standard 3yr warrenty) and all you have to do is have the vehicle inspected every 5 years(at THEIR cost) to maintain it.
Only catch is that its NOT available in Canada!
-
ah, didn't realize it was the states only.
That's a pretty good deal really.
-
i'm sure they will bring the warranty to canada sometime. imagine if the offered it on their SRT cars.

never happen ,,i have one,,have trouble getting things fixed on a three year warranty
-
it sounds to good to be true , whats the catch ?
could it be a hail-marry with dialmer poised to sell chrysler - where will jeep end up ? would it be like having an AMC lifetime warrenty in the 80's ?
when I think about it jeep been passed from willys to kaiser to amc to renault? to chrysler and maybe a few others in between .... so lifetime might be till the next big corporate transaction ...
think I would be happier with a cheaper sticker price than banking on chryslers warrenty survival ?

I'd agree with that. You gotta expect big loop holes.
Probably a $2500 deductable
