Title: Got Stuck!!
Post by: 4PLAYZJ on August 15, 2007, 01:44:58 PM: Took the truck out for a short afternoon trip to Maclean and ended hiking out 7-8km hitching a ride and having to come back the next day to get it. I dont think that I will ever go out alone without a winch again :oops:

Still had fun though :lol:

I know about siltation and affecting natural regrowth but when I get stuck on a designated trail, I have to walk on broken glass. During the time I was getting the truck out I probably saw 15 or more quads off trail just ripping up the muskeg, and for no reason other than to desroy sh!t. I guess I forgot we are the bad guys?? :roll:

Yes you will, :lol:
We all did once in a while,I have walked out twice now, the second time I had a winch, but there was nothing to attach the winch too. :roll:

I still head out by myself once in a while, just to do mild runs with the dog. I imagine I will have to walk out again one day :roll: , Maybe then I will learn not to be stupid and go by myself.
But, I doubt it :lol: :lol: :lol:

Not always easy to find someone to wheel with, but recovery gear is a must for wheeln alone.

Ps,,SAw a ad for an land anchor for a winch, for when theres nothing to tie onto :wink:
