Just spotted this on Digg. Kinda funny looking.

they got the right idea. if they made an extended cab truck i would be all over it. liked the look of the gladiator better
-
looks like the AEV Brute Kit. You can buy the kit for $10k USD. Stretches the frame 2' and cabs the front seats just like you see in these spy photos.
-
I kinda like the JT truck, The gladiator was cool too. Maybe they'll put a hemi in it  They should change the tail gate as well. So it opens like a regular pickup,
Extended cab with storage would be cool.

It does look a lot like this...

It's got to be a kit. Why else would they leave the SoftTop ridge around the box?
-
the jt truck was actually built by jeep engineers and jeeps prototype division, it was built with mainly off the shelf components and a shortened hard top. the on pc body/tub is actually in production for, i believe, the egyptian army. on of the mags did a right up on it, i think it was Jp.
geez ... you guys don't read the articles in your jeep porn

Yes, it was in last month's Jp magazine. There is a small comment and pic this month. (Just got my issue a couple days ago.)

I'm painting my XJ that color...
p.s. It's a lot different than the brute kit, if you look closely.
