I’m happy to announce the Sixth Annual Toys for Kids Christmas Cruise. Though it’s only the middle of August the Four Wheel Stampeders wanted to make sure everyone with a street legal 4x4 had Sunday December 2nd marked down on their calendars for this event.
The proceeds have been confirmed for the Alberta Children’s Hospital so the meeting place will once again be at Bowness Park for the decorated vehicle convoy under police escort to the Children’s Hospital.
Lists for special gifts will be posted up well in advance but as usual the many toys this event brings out for donations will be greatly appreciated.
Further information of the event will be posted as time draws nearer.
We look forward to a record breaking year this time with a good percentage being decorated in Christmas season attire.
Gunther Delong
President
Four Wheel Stampeders
I'll be sure to keep the executive of the Calgary Jeep Association informed of any upcoming details.

Bump for a great event.
Who is coming out. I think the kids and I will make it at about 10:45 after Hockey.
-
Does your jeep have to be decorated in order to be in the convoy?
-
hope not, gonna be tough just washing mine with these temps.
-
I dont think there will be too much standing around
-
No they don't have to be decorated, it's just nicer to see most with some kind of Christmas decoration on.
I hope everyone has seen the forecast for Sunday, and have pulled the extra clothes out of the closet. It's usually kinda chilly down along the river at Bowness Park.
See you all there.
-
Thats the best part...standing around :)
We all socialize by the roaring fire with toques and parkas. Winter boots too.
We drink coffee, hot chocolate and eat donuts. Dogs are all over and everyone is pretty happy even though its COLD
All the vehicles are running helping Global Warming get here sooner so that one year we will not have to worry about the cold
Than we have a drivers meeting, hop in the vehicles and run red lights LEGALLY 8) Watching the unmarked cop cars fly by you to clear the next intersection is always a blast!!!
-
We are looking forward to it but it will likely be 10:30 before the kids and I make it down to the park.
Blair, Hailee, Nolan and Lucas

I will try to make this as well, will be my first 'Jeep' event. :D
-
I should be there... however I will only be in my Smart Car. Does that count? Maybe we could slap some 33's on my 3 bolt rims.
-
gunna try to show up if i can find a ride down cus the truck busted and s10 doesnt like winter too much
-
gonna be there. i will be bringing the pt cruiser, maybe with the fc box on the trailer, and the commando grill jury rigged to the front. thats about the only way either one will get any miles this winter

Great to hear we will not be the only ones bring a car even though it is a Jeep Compass.
See ya'll tomorrow!
:D
-
Just a quick reminder about the -20 morning temperature for tomorrow with it possibly being colder along the river. Dress warm.
Police have confirmed an escort provided there isn't an emergency in the morning to pull them away.
See you all tomorrow.
-
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
Do we wrap the gifts we are bringing?
I don't think so ... but just want to make sure.
See ya all tomorrow :D
-
"Unwrapped toys" it says on the poster Dom... good thing too cause I hate wrapping.
See you all there.
