Thanks to our friendly neighbourhood Cablesmurf, I have some slick looking 33" MickeyT Baja Claws on streetlocks.

Thanks Dan! I can't wait to try them out on the trail, I've been looking at the construction happening across the street from the shop, there is lots of mud there now due to the rains, and I drool from my seat in the lunchroom gazing at the mud! :P
Cheers

those look sick on your ride. Might find that they rub a little bit...Who cares tho! I am jealous of your beadlocks.
Welcome to the 33" club.
now... we just gotta work on Ian.... ... ...

Yeah, on the bolts that hold the fenders to the front clip, down in the wheel well. But only at full steer.
I havent tried flexing it out yet either, but I can ga-run-tee that the rears will.
Oh well.
Heh, I find my rig actually drives better with 33's on it! It's like she was destined to run them.

Whats the damage on that setup? price
What size rim u use?
Looks good
-
Those true locks or street locks?
Just bugging ya Chrisifer.

once you run them in a bit we should arrange a tire swap for a run. Then I'll just keep 'em. mwhwhahaha!
-
Those look awesome.
Darren
-
i agree. they look sweet. good buy
-
You are missing something there Chris... I can't quite put my finger on it...
oh ya... a winch!
-
Yeah, yeah, let the razzing begin.
Yep, its confirmed, they are streetlock rims. They look purty, purty enough to fool me (and others).
Yes, I'm missing a winch, I'm working on that.
Swap tires for a run? I think not.
Cost? Free, a while back Cablesmurf posted that he was looking for a straight up trade for stock Rubi rims and tires for those. So I did.
33" MickeyT Baja Claws on Streetlock rims, $0.
Cost to change over wheels from one Jeep to another, $0.
Being confused as to Streetlocks or Beadlocks, priceless.
Cheers

It's OK to come out of the closet here, but don't tell the guys at work they are fake...
Ex-computer Nerd with fake beadlocks...guys in the shop will 'shun' you.

Those are for like, going straight, and I like, want sideways traction, so like, its not gonna work, and I paid nothing for them, they were like, you know, free.

Looks great!!!! What a difference a little bumper makes :D :D
-
Hot diggety dog those work well!!!
Like night vs day compared to the MT/R's. I only needed one tug today! And that was backwards cause I got high centered entering a hole. Darn grader skidplate.
Otherwise, I do need to get the body away from them tires. They sure do rub a lot when the suspension starts to flex. Even to the point I had to engage the lockers to overcome the rubbing tire basically locking up and the free wheel just spinning. My fenders seem to be my own worst traction enemy, and that's even compared to the skidplate!!
*sigh* more Just Emptying Every Pocket in my future...

I saw your ride go past downtown on Friday. The new wheels look fantastic. Looks like you got a great deal.
Based on your description of them rubbing in the fender wells mabe it should be a (grate) deal.
They still look good.

Hope I didn't mislead you...I'm pretty sure I posted them in my ad as Streetlocks...
BTW, I got the mud cleaned out of the two flat tires ($20 at walmart) and they both went flat again.
Gonna take them back and make them do it again...for free.

Just found the ad:
- 33" Micky Thompson Baja Claws (90-95% tread) and 15x10 street locks
Guess I was right.

Yep, no worries, I must have misread it. No biggie! :D
Darn those MT/R's; I know I didnt poke a hole in them. Get em done for free, maybe the ole squirt bottle with some soapy water in there will prove that they didnt do a good job.
Cheers
