I'm sure some of you have seen this but worth a post anyways.
yes... it is a V10 8.0L from a 1996 Viper GTS
450 horsepower and 495 foot-pounds of torque

Cause there just happens to be a Viper V10 sitting in a junkyard!
But that fit looks tighter than (insert tight analogy here).
I recall reading something about this a ways back, they had to shave like 3/4" off the inside of the grill to fit the rad or something.
With gas prices the way they are, I'll either go diesel, or cold fusion electric.
Just my $0.989/L
(And really, just $0.20 higher than this time last year

There is no Replacement for Displacement. A V10 Jeep, I like it! (until I drive by a Petro-Canada).
Coincidentally Chris, there used to be a fellow in Crossfield who imported various foreign (Japanese?) automotive diesel engines to transplant in our American guzzlers. I saw an advertisement for it at SAIT, I'll keep hunting for more info. A 4-cyl. Isuzu Turbo-Diesel Comanche sounds kinda neat in my opinion. (Even though in 1986? there were diesel Cherokees' and Comanches').
There may be some emissions issues with diesel transplant engines in new vehicles, but in old pounders like mine, it could only improve things. Diesel engines (properly tuned) produce far less harmful emissions than a comparible gasoline engine. (I'll just sit back, and wait for the black smoke-comments now!!)

Not to mention the new low sulfur diesel fuel now available, and eventually biodiesel!!
Heh, I like the fact that I could pull behind a McDonalds, pilfer their grease container, and make my own fuel!

henry when you get that guys #, give me a shout. I am working on a '89 Mazda b2600i I dont know if I want to rebuild and sell, or build it up into a decent trail rig.

www.veggiepower.ca or something like that, saw it on a late 90s' Dodge Cummins 3/4 ton. Biodiesel is already here.

I'll try and get a hold of my Diesel instructor at SAIT, he showed our class the advertisements for it. I'll keep in touch, might not be till Sept. though, when SAIT gets back in full swing.
