Title: 1999 ZJ Security System!!!

The key fobs decided not to work (new batteries).
Lights and horn when the door is opened with the key.
Tried to use the key to reset the alarm (nope).
All the doors and rear window are closed.
Tried to reset the alarm with the key fob (nope).

Any ideas?

I halfway remember having a similar issue with my 98 a few years ago. I think I solved it by reprogramming the key fobs to the ZJ using the buttons on the door,
Sorry I can't remember more, maybe theres something in the owners manual.

Turned out to be the key fobs themselves.  What are the odds
of both being bad at the same time? WTF?
