Title: xj springs in a zj

im just wondering if anyone has ever used xj springs in the front of a zj i see the part no are different but would they still work my zj is a 4.0l

Yes they will fit but you will lose .5" to 1" of lift.

I would think that they would. We put grand cherokee V8 springs in my buddies XJ, and it gave him about a 2" lift. It all bolted up and fit just fine.

i have a stock set here but i saw some lift springs for sale cheep but losing the 1" of lift makes it not work for me thamks for the replys

Many ZJ front lift springs are actually rebadged XJ springs. If it was a 6" XJ spring they'll rebadge it as a 5" ZJ spring and add on $50 cause its for a GRAND.  :roll:

If its a good deal just add a 1" spacer to get where you want to be.
