Title: np 247 toast?

Got a 99 grand with lots of play in the front drive shaft. Checked the joints, they seem ok.  Could be the front d30.  not sure.  Most of the play on the shaft seems to be coming from the transfer case.  The engine light also came on.  Not sure why.  The engine labours hard when driving. Definate driveline problem.
