Best (cheapist) I could come up with to accomodate the 36" rubber. Give me some feed back.

See my reply there. Basically if you support the tire via the bumper and spread the load on the tailgate (rubber supports under the tire to prevent it hanging on just the carrier), the tailgate is the cheapest, lightest and most practical and it will last.
