dream toy

I'm a new one to owning an actual jeep

Ever since a young boy I've dreamed about a rugged jeep.

Not too long ago a deal came up that I could not pass up.

The Score:

95 jeep yj - black
2.5l I4 (love the fuel economy)
slightly bigger tires
hard top
soft top
bikini top
(highish kms) 202k

The Price Score:

$500

The wife Loves how it looks and wants to see it lifted with bigger tires,.. but I'm happy with what it is now,... She hates the bumpy ride tho,.. LOL

I few things I need to ask,.. but I'll look for the appropriate forums.

I'll throw up pics when I get some good ones,.. but it's very stock looking, nothing out of the ordinary

I knew the father of the goof who owned it.

long story short,.. it was impounded (something about forged insurance and etc),.. father got fumed,.. clutch wasn't working.

I bought it 'as is where is',.. was just low on fluid and so far so good,.. noisy engine tho,.. don't know how much longer it'll last,.. hopefully till summer at least.

The dad just wanted to make money back on the tires he put on it.

It is a good deal, but lots of little blemishes,.. to be expected for an older vehicle

It also has a rebuilt title,.. previous owner before was a little extreme 4x'in and submerged it,.. lol

We may have another jeep in the family soon for my better half :D
