sorry to highjack a little bit but i have a wierd situation....i drove from ontario so i have ontario plates but my license needs to be renewed but i need an emissions test....you dont have those here....then i would need to change my plates to calgary plates and go through the inspection i am guessing. Now the jeep is prety solid the only thing is is that i have noth front and rear track bars taken off. would this be a problem? also because it is out of province is the inspection harder?

if you live in calgary now, you will need to get the out of province inspection done - that will get you your alberta plates.  we don't have emissions tests here, but pretty much everything else is fair game.  as for not having track bars that depends on the person doing the inspection.  i know dean folk at folk automotive does a lot of work with lifted trucks, so he'd probably be your best bet.

the oop inspections are very thorough and the rules are very strict.  there isn't much that they can let slide...
